After several discussions and meetings it was finally decided that the Kenner Naval Museum would be interested in putting the boat on display along with their aircraft in the museum park behind City Hall on Williams Blvd. in Kenner.

Mr. Claude Todaro heads up the Naval Museum Commission and has been the driving force in expanding and upgrading the museum.

On April 16, 2007 the boat was officially put on loan to the museum.  The boat will be stored and restored at the Kenner Public Works yard. After restoration is complete, the boat will be transported to the museum park and  put on permanent public display joining the A-4 Skyhawk, F-14 Tomcat and other military displays.
