In October 2007 the boat was officially donated to the La. Naval Museum behind City Hall in Kenner, La.

We are now in the process of restoring the boat to place it in the museum park in time for the Veteran's Day celebration on Nov. 5th 2009. We are still accepting monetary donations to help defray the restoration costs.
